HUB International recently launched CoverEdge - an affordable Voluntary Medical, Life and Disability insurance program for employers with non-eligible or non-participating employees. The program, being offered through HUB’s Northeast operation, is a customized benefit program complete with employee communication and administration. This program offers a valuable protection package providing immediate benefits and cost savings. Through Fringe Benefits Management Company, Pan American Life and Nationwide Insurance are underwriting two separate CoverEdge products for HUB.
CoverEdge Program Highlights:
Depending on the plan design chosen, the plan may include the following benefits:
• Benefit payment for office visits, maternity, accidents, surgical diagnostic, x-ray and lab
• In-hospital benefit payment and hospital admission benefit payment
• No restrictions on physicians networks
• Prescription benefit (Rx) – no annual maximums
• Guaranteed issue coverage – no health underwriting
• No pre-existing condition limitations
• No deductibles, no co-pays
• Pre-tax deduction under IRS Sec. 125
• No minimum hours work fulfillment
• No carrier mandated benefit periods
Each medical plan may include network and prescription drug discount programs offering additional savings on medical, dental, vision, Rx and other services which help maximize plan benefits.
